Old Barn

The sturdy character of this 150 year old barn caught my eye from quite a far distance. Regardless of its age, and that it's fallen into disuse, it has been painted, whitewashed and in fair repair. When it was newly built and in use, you can imagine its quiet strength as a respite and stronghold of the labor of the farmer's workday. If you've lived on a old family farm, this is probably a very familiar site.
